At PHX Cat Cafe, we’re dedicated to helping you make that heartfelt connection with a cat in need. Our adoption process is designed to ensure that both you and your new feline friend are a perfect match. Here’s how it works:

Step 1: Explore Our Cat Profiles

• Below is where you’ll find a gallery of our adorable feline residents. Each cat’s profile includes a photo and a brief description of their unique personality.

Step 2: Complete an Online Adoption Application

• Once you’ve fallen in love with a particular cat, click on their picture to view their full profile.
• Simply click on the “Apply for Adoption” button to start the online adoption application process.
• Fill out the application form with your information, telling us about your home, lifestyle, and why you’re the perfect match for your chosen cat.

Step 3: Schedule an Interview and Home Check

• Our team will promptly review your application and reach out to schedule an interview. This is your chance to ask any questions you may have and get to know us better.
• We take your cat’s well-being seriously, so we’ll arrange a home check or virtual home check to ensure your environment is safe and suitable for your new furry family member.

Step 4: Meet the Cats in Our Lounge

• If you haven’t already visited our rescue lounge to meet the cats in person, we highly encourage you to do so. We believe in the importance of a genuine connection between you and your future pet.
• We want to ensure that you choose your cat based on your connection with them, not just their picture and description.

Step 5: Every Adult in the Home Must Visit

• To ensure a harmonious transition, we require that every adult in your household visits with the cat before we consider an adoption. This helps ensure that everyone is comfortable and on board with the new addition to your family.

Step 6: Adoption Approval and Pick-Up

• Once your application is approved, we’ll work with you to set up a convenient time for you to pick up your new cat.
• Our adoption fee ranges from $150 to $300, which includes essential services like spaying/neutering, testing for FIV/FELV, up-to-date FVRCP vaccines, and a microchip for your cat’s safety.
